Pinecrest Chalet wedding venue offers beautiful chalets and outdoor venue space in the woods.
The Chalet was founded in 1952 as a three-story dorm room with an outhouse.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Since then, the Chalet has become both a landmark and a tradition of the Sierra Nevada. The
Chalet offers breathtaking views of the Stanislaus National Forest, Pinecrest Lake, and Emigrant
Wilderness. The resort is just a two-hour drive from Yosemite National Park. The property is
owned and operated by UC Berkeley\u2019s Cal Alumni Association. This venue is perfect for nature
lovers and couples looking for an all-outdoor wedding. The property hosts events year-round and
can host up to 130 people for a wedding. The area spans seven wooded acres and is perfect for
couples who want a group-oriented wedding. Everyone stays at the same place but still has

Details of the Grounds<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n


When you book your Pinecrest Chalet wedding, you will have access to the entire grounds,
including a creekside amphitheater, a bear garden, and a pool. Natural materials create an ideal
setting for the reception, such as tree bark tables and benches. Campfires are lit throughout the
reception area after the wedding. Pinecrest Chalet hangs string lights through the forest to make
your day feel magical. The staff works hard to make you feel like you are in an enchanting
forest.
The makeshift dance floor in the amphitheater\u2019s center is rustic, charming, and still enough space
to dance all night. There are several scenic locations to take photos at Pinecrest Chalet, such as
the amphitheater, the central courtyard, or the lush forest surrounding the grounds. The property
is located alongside the North Folk Tuolumne River and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The
pine trees offer a picturesque background that makes any area look dreamy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n


Everything You and Your Guests Could Want<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n


The mountain resort has 23 amenity-filled cottages and chalets. Each Pinecrest Chalet includes a
full kitchen and can sleep up to 14 guests. Additionally, they offer intimate cottages for 2 to 4
guests in the woods, townhouses, and lots for RV parking. They also have camping. Typically,
the couple will get ready in separate cabins. Later, couples can stay in their newly remodeled
Muir Unit as a honeymoon suite, full of new furnishings and a contemporary theme. Several
community areas are available to all guests: a pool, the bear garden, and a den filled with books
and games.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Guests can enjoy themselves both on and off the property as there are plenty of outdoor
recreational activities near the venue. The Pinecrest Chalet wedding venue is just over three
miles from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort if you have your wedding in the winter. In the summer, they
offer courses on-site in wilderness survival, archery, and rock climbing. There are also several
trails near the Chalet for guests to check out.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
